THIRD INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL
"INNOVATION MANAGEMENT''
It is the third time young scientists and individual innovators, students, graduates and researchers, beginning entrepreneurs and other representatives of educational and scientific institutions interested in the commercialization of research outputs aged 35 maximum from Armenia and other CIS countries have gathered together in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia on October 23-26 within the framework of the International Youth Scientific School “Innovation Management”, organized by the NGO Association of Young Innovators and Scientists together with the National Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA.
Through interactive sessions the School aimed to boost creativity and entrepreneurial mindset among the youngsters while familiarizing them with the mechanisms of science-driven innovative projects commercialization, the process and particularities regarding the way of reaching the market starting from an idea. In fact, it had a vocation to encourage youth involvement and cooperation in innovative business initiatives by providing an opportunity to foster experience sharing and establishment of new relationships among young specialists from different spheres and countries.

2017 on October 23, the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center hosted the launch of the 3rd International Youth Science School "Innovation Management", organized by the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Young Innovations and Scientists Association and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan. (Tsakhkadzor from 23 to 26 of October).
50 young scientists, students, post-graduate students, researchers, beginner entrepreneurs and innovators from Armenia, the CIS and other Eastern Partnership countries are participating in the school.
The aim of the school is to provide participants with an effective way to commercialize innovative projects through interactive trainings, from ideas to the market, as well as providing the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of intellectual property protection and management.
Within the framework of the event, seminars, lectures, master classes will be held by leading Armenian and foreign experts from the field of innovation management and project management.
The project is supported by the Young Scientists Support Program sponsored by the RA President, the Young Scientists Council of the NAS RA, the Youth Foundation of Armenia and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan.

On the second day of the Third International Youth Scientific ''School Innovation Managment'' Mary-Hrachoohi Boghosian, NASA Space Missions Development Program technological proposals Reviewer and Evaluator, lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics, American University of Armenia together with Narek Manaseryan, co-founder and CEO of Blue Book Training & Coaching Center facilitated practical sessions letting the participants work on their own innovative ideas. Particularly, they learned how to pitch their projects in front of the investors as well as how to model the ideas and business processes.
In the second half of the day Narek Vardanyan, founder of the portal The Crowdfunding Formula and author of the book ''37 Secrets of Crowdfunding'' presented the essentaials, pecularities and advantages of Crowdfunding as an alternative source of financing of innovative ideas.
As a conclusion of the working day to give an example of a successful Armenian startup the speakers presented the main features of the marketing campaign of the first Armenian 3D modeling device and of multifunctional Volterman Smart Wallet of Armenian production and discussed the impediments met on the way.

On the third day morning of the III International Youth Scientific School ''Innovation Management'' at the lecture of Mr. Chakarian, president and director of Technology and Science Dynamics Inc., founder of New Technology Education Fund the participants got acquainted with the planning process of an innovative product and production and marketing specificities needed of their commercialization.
